Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, Vice President, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai, announced the appointment of Ahmed Al Sayegh as the new Minister of Health and Prevention in a Cabinet reshuffle approved by the President.
Sheikh Mohammed thanked outgoing Minister Abdulrahman Al Owais for his service, noting that he will continue as Minister of State for Federal National Council Affairs.
Ahmed Al Sayegh previously served as Minister of State at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, overseeing economic and commercial affairs since 2018. He also managed the UAE’s relations with Asian countries and the Commonwealth of Independent States. Al Sayegh holds several key positions, including board member of Adnoc, board member of the Abu Dhabi Fund for Development, vice chairman of Emirates Nature–WWF, and co-chairman of the UAE-UK Business Council.
