The UAE Urban Search and Rescue team has once again secured the “heavy” classification, the highest international honor bestowed by the International Search and Rescue Advisory Group (INSARAG), a United Nations-affiliated body. This marks the third occasion that the team from the Abu Dhabi Civil Defence Authority has achieved this elite status, enhancing the UAE’s reputation for exceptional emergency preparedness and disaster response capabilities.
President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan extended his congratulations to the team, commending their professionalism, dedication, and operational readiness.
