Dubai Students’ Innovation Wins Gold, Boosting Economic Prospects

In a recent celebration of youthful innovation, Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed, who serves as the Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister, and Minister of Defence, recognized the achievements of four exceptional students from Dubai Schools Al Khawaneej. These students were honored for clinching a gold medal at the prestigious Greenwich International Innovation Olympiad, which took place in London.

The victorious team, consisting of Ali Al Jarwan, Khalifa Al Marzouqi, Omar Al Balooshi, and Saeed Abu Al Shawareb, impressed the judges and outshone competitors from 80 different nations with their groundbreaking Smart Irrigation Train project. This innovative solution not only secured them first place but also brought pride to their school and their country.

Sheikh Hamdan lauded the students, hailing them as exemplary figures for the Emirati youth. He commended their dedication, creativity, and perseverance, describing them as a source of inspiration. Sheikh Hamdan emphasized the crucial role of young, innovative minds in driving national progress and prosperity, highlighting how such talents are invaluable assets to any nation.

In his address, Sheikh Hamdan also urged students throughout the United Arab Emirates to persistently pursue excellence and knowledge. He encouraged them to set high aspirations for their educational and professional journeys, stressing the importance of determination in achieving their goals.
