As temperatures in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) climb, certain regions could see highs reaching up to 46°C on Saturday. The rise in temperature is accompanied by increased humidity, which may lead to fog or mist, particularly overnight and during early morning hours, affecting visibility in coastal and inland areas.
The weather is projected to remain mostly fair to partly cloudy, with light to moderate winds prevailing across the region. Inland areas are expected to experience temperatures ranging from 41°C to 46°C, while coastal areas and islands will likely see slightly cooler temperatures between 36°C and 41°C. In the mountainous regions, temperatures are forecasted to be between 29°C and 35°C.
Humidity levels may soar to 95% in some areas, further contributing to the likelihood of fog or mist from late Saturday through Sunday morning. These conditions are anticipated to persist into the following week, with the possibility of increased cloud development in the eastern parts of the country from Monday afternoon, which could result in convective clouds.
Fog or mist is expected to continue appearing overnight and in the early morning hours through Wednesday and Thursday. During this period, winds may occasionally strengthen to speeds of around 35 km/h. Meanwhile, the sea conditions are predicted to remain generally slight, although the Sea of Oman might experience moderate to rough conditions at times.
