The United Arab Emirates has issued a stern denunciation of recent Iranian military assaults on Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar, and Jordan, labeling these actions as a grave menace to the stability and security of the region. The UAE’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs emphasized that these attacks constitute an unacceptable breach of the sovereignty of these neighboring countries and reiterated its unwavering support for them.

In its statement, the UAE also condemned the attacks on Iraq’s Kurdistan region, cautioning that such measures could escalate instability in the broader area. The ministry’s response reflects the heightened concerns shared by countries in the region over the potential repercussions of these aggressive moves.

Reports from Kuwaiti officials revealed that an Iranian strike targeted a power and water desalination facility, resulting in a fire and extensive damage to multiple electricity-generation units. The incident underscores the tangible impact of these attacks on critical infrastructure within the affected nations.

Meanwhile, Jordanian military authorities reported that their air defense systems had successfully intercepted and neutralized three Iranian missiles that had breached the country’s airspace. Fortunately, there were no casualties or material damage reported in the aftermath. Similarly, Bahrain’s armed forces announced their air defense systems had effectively intercepted and destroyed several Iranian aerial threats.

The Iranian attacks occur amid a backdrop of escalating tensions in the Middle East, fueled by ongoing military confrontations involving Iran and the United States. This latest series of strikes raises concerns over the potential for further destabilization in an already volatile region.
